The ultrasonic nebulizer utilizes electronic high-frequency oscillation (with an oscillation frequency of 1.7 MHz or 2.4 MHz, which is beyond the human hearing range and does not cause any harm to the human body or animals) to cause the liquid water molecules to resonate at a high frequency through the ceramic nebulizing plate. This process breaks down the liquid water molecules and generates natural, drifting water mist. No heating or addition of any chemical reagents is required. Compared with the heating nebulization method, energy is saved by 90%. Additionally, during the nebulization process, a large number of negative ions are released. These negative ions interact with the floating smoke, dust, etc. in the air through electrostatic reactions, causing them to precipitate. At the same time, they can effectively remove harmful substances such as formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, bacteria, etc., purifying the air and reducing the occurrence of diseases.
 
The piezoelectric ceramic atomizer uses the inverse piezoelectric effect of the piezoelectric ceramic material to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, causing the atomizer to generate ultrasonic vibration. 
Piezoelectric ceramic atomization plates are usually composed of piezoelectric ceramic films and metal electrodes. When an alternating voltage is applied to the piezoelectric ceramic film, the film will undergo mechanical deformation and form ultrasonic waves on the liquid surface. 
Ultrasound generates cavitation effects on the surface of the liquid, causing the liquid to form tiny droplets, thereby achieving atomization. Piezoelectric ceramic atomization plates have the advantages of high atomization efficiency, fine atomized particles, simple structure, and convenient use, and are widely applied in humidifiers, medical atomizers, and beauty instruments, etc.

Flat-Bottom Microporous Piezo Ceramic Ultrasonic Atomizer TransducerPiezoelectric ceramic components are made of lead zirconate titanate (PZT) as the core material and polycrystalline piezoelectrics through ceramic powder sintering process, which are polarized to provide electromechanical coupling characteristics. The structure of the components covers single-layer sheets (thickness 0.1-1mm), multi-layer stacks (2-100 layers) and composite cantilever beams, etc. The surface is plated with nickel/gold electrodes to ensure electrical conductivity, and the exterior is encapsulated with epoxy resin or protected by a metal shell to meet the requirements of different protection levels, such as IP67.
The use of positive piezoelectric effect (mechanical stress → electrical signal) and reverse piezoelectric effect (electrical signal → mechanical deformation) to achieve energy conversion. For example, in ultrasonic applications, the electrical signal drives the piezoelectric ceramics to generate high-frequency vibration (20kHz-15MHz) to emit sound waves, and conversely receives the echo through the positive piezoelectric effect into an electrical signal to complete the distance measurement or imaging function.
